Dear Church Family,
The Caroline County Public Schools are sponsoring a “Senior Drive” and is asking for donations from churches. Please read the announcement below:
“ Good Evening: I am reaching out to each of you for an immediate need. At Caroline County Public Schools, we have decided to do a 2020 Senior Drive through each Tuesday in May that leads up to their original graduation date. The Tuesdays are May 5, 12, and 19. CCPS is asking local churches to help sponsor the MAY 5th date which is next Tuesday. The theme is SENIOR SWEETS and TREATS. I am looking for donations of Boxed Candy, McDonalds Ice Cream Gift cards, Soda Bottles (plastic), Chips, Gift Cards, and any other SWEET idea. The items will be placed in a Senior Swag Bag. We will pass them out to each Senior that comes through the Drive thru. There are approx. 260 Seniors so we are aiming for collecting that amount of each item to fill the bags. Please send this to the appropriate person in your church that can help with the QUICK PROCESS….lets rally together. Please let me know if you can help and I can make arrangements with you to pick up the items any day from this Friday to Monday. I appreciate anything you can do.”
If you would like to support and donate to this worthy effort in honoring our 2020 graduates, please bring your gifts to the church for the May 5th “Senior Sweets and Treats” during these times:
> Saturday, May 2nd: 9am-12pm
> Monday, May 4th: 9am-1pm
