Meredith grew up in Concord, North Carolina and moved to Bowling Green in 2009 shortly after she married her husband, Joseph, who works for the US Navy.  They live with their rescued Dalmatian, Penny, and are expecting their first child in August of 2019.  Meredith works as a laboratory technician for Caroline County and spends much of her personal time assisting with youth ministry and church Bible studies.  She has served as the Sunday school director since 2016 and been actively involved in supporting other church ministries since 2010.  Her church positions include Sunday school director, hospitality & kitchen committee, children’s ministry, and youth ministry.  In her free time, she enjoys birding (and is a lifetime member of the Virginia Society of Ornithologists), reading, music, and hiking/being outdoors.

Meredith has a heart for people, service, and giving.  She has always looked for individuals in a crowd who appear timid or out-of-place and offered them a friendly smile and kind word.  Her love of people often drives her to give generously of her time, resources, and efforts.  Meredith genuinely enjoys actively supporting others in a service ministry role, whether it is her husband in youth ministry or an upstart Bible study looking for new material.  Her prayer and passion is to see others come to Christ and grow in their relationships.  She also is passionate about seeing people loved who may feel alone, isolated, or rejected by others in their life.

If you ever need to speak with Meredith, don’t hesitate to approach her at church or e-mail her at [email protected].
